These Terms & Conditions govern access to Raleigh County Released Inmates and its reference material, navigation links, and partner search tools. By visiting or using the site, you agree to follow these terms and all laws that apply to your activity. The terms include strict limits on record use, disclaimers about changing custody information, and rules for outside services. If you do not accept every provision, do not use the site. Continued use after revised terms are posted means that the revised version governs later activity.

Raleigh County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no connection with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers consumer reports or services for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. The site is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency. It only helps visitors locate Raleigh County and West Virginia custody and public-record resources.

Nature of This Website

This is a private reference service with no authority over Raleigh County, Southern Regional Jail, WVDCR, a court, BOP, or another agency. We store no official jail, release, inmate, or court records. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a document with an office.

The site points to government resources and may connect visitors with independent research tools. An official record remains under the control of the agency or court that created it.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site and any information reached through it lawfully and without harming another person or the service.

  • Do not violate a federal, state, or local law.
  • Do not stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass anyone.

No Consumer Reporting Services

Raleigh County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither search nor advertising partners provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use any site content or linked result for:

  • A decision to hire, fire, promote, or retain a worker.
  • Tenant selection, housing access, or another rental decision.
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or an insurance rate or decision.
  • Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program.

Outside Resources and Services

Links may lead to WVDCR searches, Raleigh court and law-enforcement resources, federal locators, legal-aid information, public-record portals, and third-party search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control the destination’s content, data practices, pricing, terms, availability, or security. Review its current rules before submitting information or paying for a service.

Access to West Virginia executive-branch public records is subject to the state’s law and exemptions, including West Virginia Code section 29B-1-3. This site does not expand or replace any right supplied by that law.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Raleigh County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, and partners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, and reasonable legal fees resulting from your site use, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.

Ownership of Site Material
